I spent the last weekend grading around 300 quizzes. The majority of the answer sheets were mundane i.e. had some solution which I had to check. However, there were a few exceptions ![]()

And, this was definitely encouraging:

. On a related note, this was the phd-comic for weekend.
Hoping that the coincidences stop there. This exercise was valuable in one other way: It clearly showed that what I taught my students was very far away from what they had learned from me!
